There is an age-old connection between trees and Architecture. In this project we have used tree as a metaphor for visualising the form, function and the concept of housing. The service core is centrally placed that holds onto the branches of houseblocks. This protrusion of blocks sunshades the block underneath as we descend down the building, thus eliminating the usage of shading devices.Also, addition of plants on the façade brings the building to life making it a sustainable extension of our urban landscape.

The concept of concrete jungle has maligned the field of architecture. Hence, it needs to be revisited with creative solutions. The concept of literally taking a concrete TREE to break the monotony of boxes serve as a reminder that the need to be eco sensitive is real. The TREE does not only acts as a shelter for numerous creatures but also acts as a filter for the environment. Hence, the use of Solar Panels, Rain Water Harvesting, dedicated Green spaces, Vertical Garden Walls and Stack parking becomes of paramount importance.
